Memories stay
when you go away
without a goodbye
without a last smile?
when you go away
memories stay
in my silent tears
in my pounding head
in my unexplainable smile
in those silly laughs that bubble up
when i think of us
US. thats a word long gone
just like you
but yeah it stays
in my memory
all the same.
