Memories Poem by Ryan Temple

Memories

Memories come flooding back,
as the majestic waves graced the stones
with a cool soothing presence,
just like her voice.

Rays of sun rained down on us,
illuminating her face,
displaying to me, and only me,
everything I love about her.

Chirping crickets disturb our silence,
a silence which we understand
- but nobody else does,
words just cant describe our love.

The gulls soared and swooped,
performing sublime routines
which left me with no words to utter.
Speechless I was, just like with her.

Her longing gaze caught my attention,
as I stared into her enchanting,
brilliantly blue eyes
I was immersed in ecstasy.

A warm feeling controlled my body
making me realise my love
for this fine specimen of a human.
My love was undescribable, unprecidented, yet unstoppable.
