Memories Poem by Hailey Charette

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Every memory flies past me
like an arrow
we were so happy
and then
it disappered
along with you

the memories escape
and I begin to cry

I'm being told a truth
I'd always wished
I'd never hear
your gone

I'm told your never coming back
but that I already knew

My heart cries to you
but I know you'll never hear it
My heart has fallen to pieces
waiting for you to mend them
but you never will

I've fallen from this cruel world
waiting for you to find me
but I know
I'll be lost in the dark
forever
