Memories Poem by Malvin L. Brown

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Days may come and days may go but there will
always be a place in my heart for you. Sometimes
late in the evening when I am lonesome and blue
I turn back the pages of time and snatch my
memories of you.

I remember when we used to stroll down a trail by a
placid stream where the roses were in bloom and the
grass was always green and the fragrance of spring
flowers filled the air.

Yesterday may come and days may go but my memories
go with me where ever I go and there will always
be a place in my heart for you because,
My darling, I am still in love with you.

Tender memories about a love gone by but memories that are real and come unbidden
