Memories Of Wcc Poem by Sheela Toshili

Memories Of Wcc

Memories of WCC illuminate my day
Three wonderful years spent with
Friends who helped and cheered each other

How carefree we were, wandering around
Ah! how soothing the verdant, tranquil campus
where we bonded and made pranks

Sweet notes from the college chapel linger on,
The babble in the common room where all flocked
The serious air when exams round the corner

Unforgettable were the visits to the old age homes
The happiness of the elderly, evergreen in my mind
Lessons learnt to find joy in giving and in life’s simple things

Our teachers! epitome of grace and intellect
imparted knowledge and wisdom
while inspiring and instilling sound values in us

Like fledglings we flew out
Of your protective branches
Flying far and wide chasing our dreams

Now we come back to you, dear college
To be rejuvenated under your soothing shade
Thank you for all that you gave and taught us.
