Memories Of You (To My Grandmother) Poem by Juliana LaVe'

Memories Of You (To My Grandmother)

Rating: 4.0

I remember when we cried,
I remember we were scared;
I remember no one lied
And you were always there.

I loved to make your tea
Two sugars and a cream;
I loved to do your hair'
Pulled tight to look Chines xD

I loved to stay the night-
Those hours full of strife;
By day became more restless-
This is the toll of life.

I listened to your stories,
I saw the gleam inside your eyes;
You wanted to go home
But no one heard your cries.

You seemed to be so happy
As you withheld the pain,
But I knew that deep inside
Your will began to fain.

Now all I have are memories,
Full of faith and love.
Memories of you and me
While you are up above.
