Memory Cry Poem by Kwasi Boakye

Memory Cry

Memories of the past,
Through which my thoughts never last
Like dust cast in my eyes,
denied me right to identification
This far I come,
Via images in my head
Blissful were days of yesteryear,
Days you held my hands,
Looked into my eyes
And said those lovely words
Flavorful were they,
With fragrance beyond price
Never dream't of it being in vain
How possible could this be?
Situations brought obstacles,
Yet hope soared high
If fate really exist
A favor from him will be appreciated
Let this passion not pass me
Put a smile on my face
Make the future glitter
Brighter than a star
Like a star my heart finds light
Hope for tomorrow I seek
Make our emotions reciprocal
My dream come true
