Memory Lane Poem by Shannon Fuhrman

Memory Lane

Rating: 5.0

If it could be,
Would we let it?
Would we give it all away?
Drop everything we have,
For one more chance to be happy.

This could be the last shot,
Before our lives have to move on,
And it is all stuck in the past.

Would we give it all away?
Just to be together.
To have and to hold each other,
Till the end of time.

Drop it all,
Or make the past the past.
And be done with one another.
Can we let our love go?

If it could be,
Would we let it?
Would we give it all away?
What if we’re meant to be together?
