Mental Notes Poem by Roger Snow

Mental Notes

Sands pour aimlessly into This Jar of time
while I reach for Clouds too high to feel
Reeling from the sense that cloaks itself
with Rapture long gone on it's Journey
behind a Curtain weaved of Love

She smiles slightly under her sighs
while Haunting me with flirtations
spun through the Magic of her eyes

Saving Souls,
Lost at Sea
was just another talent
of Angels whom wander free
though I replicate those
please do not place that
Label Bright
on photographs displaying me

Joined in Many Moments spent
Caressing Silken Truths which become
true much too late
Wasted even more
casting concepts concerning
the Turn of distant Fate, , ,

The Future looks just as Bright
as those nights filled with Stars
when, in the Desert out of sight
we laid our souls wide open
to each other, ,
through the playing out
of notes upon velvet strings
on Golden shining Guitars
Yeah, , saving Grace, , ,
~~~~~~~~ End
