Mentor Matters Poem by ANKITA DUBEY

Mentor Matters

Mentor matters
When arjuna never knew what he must shatter,
Dronacharya prepared him to own the onus and not be flattered,

When Dhruva had his world collapsed and scattered
Narad muni preached him wisdom that botched the trapper,

When Aristotle was trotting on a path he later mastered,
Plato was his torchbearer and backer,

When Vivekananda held the baton and cleaned the mess that splattered,
Ramkrishna Paramhansa inoculated uncanny speech he plastered,

When Gandhiji mesmerized masses so bothered,
Gopal Krishna Gokhale's experience was the dose that mattered,

When today we have politicians who just natter,
They have notorious guidance of a supreme knacker,
Brace up people and concoct the ideas for an arduous fight ahead,
Follow the light because but obviously MENTOR MATTERS.
