Merci Bien Poem by Thoisquare Tongbram

Merci Bien

Thanx to all those girls.
Hats off to all who couldn't be with me.
The pedestal where I stand now wouldn't be here
Without you all being in my life, dear.
The feelings that flowed in my veins
Making me mad to insane.
Rode the ups and downs,
Acted like a self-appointed clown.
Just to get nearer to you,
While others stared and said poor you.

All the times I spent.
All the curves I bent.
All the lessons I learnt.
All the stares I endured.
All the vows I renewed.
Each was a step closer to
What I am now and I do
Believe u won't disappoint me
In making me grow wiser;
In giving me the one lover
I've been waiting eagerly,
For what seems like eternity.

Just like good things comes to
Those who wait, I stand so
And hope I'll see someone
By my side who says I am the one.
And I know how thankful I'll be to the stars,
To those who've pushed me this far.
Least i can say is 'Merci bien' to you all.
