Your Heart's Solace Poem by Thoisquare Tongbram

Your Heart's Solace

I wondered for days and night.
I doubted if I'll ever win this fight,
For facing the odds against me
Was the only way to you for me.

You tried shoving me back.
I tried getting back on track.
You had a heart of stone.
Or, so you made me believe.
I knew you were alone.
And had dreams you wanted to achieve.
But I didn't know the way to your heart.
Neither did I've the antidote to you hurt.

All I can do is, tell you this:
“Hang on tight, with all your might.”
For all the hurt that's there,
You'll find a solace somewhere;
Just like you became my solace.
And if u ever need a place
For you to cry and say it out loud,
My heart’s all yours to occupy.
Just so you make it your heart’s solace.
