Mermaid Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

Mermaid

Magical view point,
Phenomenal glamour;
Self-surrender as
I'm vehemently attracted.
Imagination to reality,
Many unsolved questions;
Creation of an unbelievable
Amphibian I read.
Half a fish and a half a human,
Discovery of a pixie;
A paragon, many fables
Glorify the pictorial book.
Tell the shape and size,
Beauty and elegance;
Peculiar posture and
Moon shaped face with a royal look.
Not less than a fairy,
Lives in the deep sea;
Dolphin dance infatuated
Disappears at once.
Daughter of the sea,
Hides beneath the waves;
Eyes stick at her
May she come up by chance?
