Mermaid Poem by Konalli Rajeev Naik

Mermaid

An amazing fair fish you are
Well suited to my bosom lake

A blessed mermaid queen you are
In my dark deep world of under lake

Ready I am, mermaid to offer my legs
For your flickering motion on my land

Your steering clever fins
Quiet large shy eyes
And your calm graceful meander
Stimulate my gentle invasion
Into the marvelous dream world

But watch out the spilt out
Monstrous fishing net
To grab and imprison you
In the small cramped
Freshwater aquarium;
The fake lake of the lounge
