Message From Her Majesty Poem by Yvonne ColemanBurney

Message From Her Majesty

People ask me as they come in and out of
my life why my past has not filled me with
strife

I tend to smile a wee too much I
continue to keep screaming kicking my past
in the butt.

I have no time to replace dirt
with dirt I am into healing wounds and
helping the hurt I figure my path was
pre-destined for me by my heavenly father
initials "G"

As people continue to turn their nose up along
with there back biting stares I simply continue
to strut my stuff you see I really don't care.

I was born in a place where hell did dwell
but God pulled me through those times so
my love could prevail I don't have time for
people who can't see and especially for those who
won't let me be me.

So you see when you look at me and think I am
arrogant and such a snob it's just that you don't know
anything about me or how my life was robbed.

That's why I try to live this time I have left
striving to heal wounds and to do my best
The Lady is a Queen "Royalty for God's sake"
Heir to the throne God's chosen make no mistake…

So I am going keep walking my walk and
continue to seal my faith cause life is short and
I don't have time for your hate.
