Met You In The Dark Poem by Lean T

Met You In The Dark

"Struggling in my own darkness, I felt a light reach out.
When I looked closer, it was your hand—
a stranger I had never met.
Yet, your light shined so bright,
it felt as though the sun pierced into my soul
and breathed me back to life."

"But now, my love, I see the weight you bear,
shadows creeping where your laughter used to be.
Let me be the hand that finds you there,
a flame to warm you, wild and free."

"You once pulled me from the endless night,
now let me guide you toward the dawn.
Lean into me—I'll be your light,
until the darkness is gone."
