Mi Cara Poem by Georgia Leana Benedictos

Mi Cara

Mi Cara, the way your lips smile

Make me want to stay for a while.

When you utter a silent curse,

My whole world starts to burst.

-

Mi Cara, I love to hold your hand

The fondness of your mind

The gentleness of your touch

The sweetness of your lips.

-

Mi Cara, my sweet amore.

When your gentle eyes gaze,

It's as if I will not bear

The passion of your stare.

-

Mi Cara, the sun now sets.

Hold my hand, the intent look

Gaze upon the setting sun.

Mi Cara, my gentle amore.
