Middle Path Poem by Bryan Thao Worra

Middle Path

Since the 6th century B.C.,
The Buddha has said
The right perspective,
The right motive,
The right words,
The right action,
The right job,
The right effort,
The right awareness
And concentration
Are the simple keys to happiness in a world of complex pains.

In America, this is enough to get you filed
Under New Age Witchcraft, and banned from
Ice cream socials.
