Midnight Marauders Poem by Neera Lollbeeharry

Midnight Marauders

Rating: 4.3

In the dead of night, when the world goes to sleep,
When nightly creatures out of hide outs creep,
In a darkest alley meet two midnight marauders-
Two free spirit wanderers, two adventure seekers.

They meet at a crossroad to decide on a plan,
To roam the town together, a man and a woman.
In a tacit agreement they seal a secret deal,
To meet every night to ramble and to steal.

In their mutual plan to loot and plunder and raid,
They feel the whole place is a territory to invade.
To them now the town, is their best playground-
A safe full of treasures and of riches without bound.

They have so much fun, howling as one as they loot!
The new thrill is a marvel, a blissful absolute.
Furiously, they capture every corner in a band,
And revel at the plunders of this baffling wonderland

In their sleepless chase after adventures insane,
They allow for a hurricane to diffuse in their veins.
In their craze to own and to spin the thrill all out,
It is each others hearts that they unknowingly rout.
