Mile After Mile Poem by Paul Reed

Mile After Mile

The day begins and ends
The river flows around it's bends
Things keep moving, gathering pace
The clock's hands move around the face;

The wind blows and then dies down
The rain falls to the ground
Life goes on, at least for a while
Travelling the road, mile after mile
