Miles - Poem by Correina MacRae

The miles between us
don’t make any difference
at all.
Even if I am here and you
are there, I will always
catch you when you fall.

Your eyes when they shine,
light up my heart.
You don’t know how much
I wish we weren’t miles apart.

Your hands, so soft.
Your kiss, warm summer rain.
Although, were apart
our love grows stronger by day.

I can’t wait to see you,
my Angel, my heart.
I love you and I miss you
and wish we weren’t
miles apart.
