Mind Over Matter Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Mind Over Matter

A thought, a seed, a whisper small,
Takes root inside, and stands up tall.
It paints a picture, clear and bright,
And floods the darkness with its light.

The body listens, feels the pull,
Of what the mind deems wonderful.
A strength can rise, a fear can fade,
By the mental castle we have made.

When walls felt thick, and hope was gone,
A quiet voice said, 'Carry on.'
That inner whisper, soft but deep,
Awoke the will, from slumber's sleep.

It wasn't magic, swift and grand,
But steady faith, held in my hand.
A chosen thought, a different way,
That shaped my dawn, and brought the day.
