Mind The Wolves Poem by Zechariah Macon

Mind The Wolves

Confused-
sibling's
eyes form the
word 'usurper'

the moon's light
forms the phrase
'consealer of truth'

the mirror in the
reflection
hatred spilling out
of his eyes
says
'traitor'

Disguised-
the crow outside
insults
'thief'

the sun in the sky
that gives light
to all
lashes out with his
heat
'liar, murderer'

the rain that
lands on the window
weeps
'hero you have abandoned'

the wolves bite, tear, and chase
'accept me for
i am your TRUTH'

Denial-

Fracture-
'for i am weak and
not quite ready'
