Mind@war Poem by Anonymous Poet

Mind@war

Each day is another pain in the mind
As I hear you shout morning to dine...
All you do is shout and yell
And make my life a living hell...
If this is what I get from you everyday
Then I don't want a long life I would say...
Now you hate each and everything about me
But back then you told I'm your happiness key...
I often wonder if life would have been
happier, If I was married to love of my teen? ...
Would we have started and ended our days
With laughter and love and kisses on the face?
Suddenly I remember how she broke my heart
She had moved away & tore my dreams apart...
She said people would have never accepted us
15 years later, now I see there would have been no fuss...
All it mattered was that we kept the faith
And fought together until we were soul mate...
Is there any way I can stop this daily pain?
Remember I got 2 kids so I need to remain sane!
Is there a way to make this marriage survive
And we can stay together until atleast sixty five?
After that I don't think I would have any plan
To prolong my stay on this dear land...
