I just want you to know
Incase I don’t survive the loss
Of you
That the time I had
Was better than the life I’ve lead
The tragedy that is the parody of life
And while I write this
I trace the scar left over my heart
Made by this love for you
All that I have that was left behind
Your words I repeat
But they don’t mean as much
Without your voice
Your embraces I remember
But they don’t mean as much in the present
Since your arms are no longer here
To hold me sometimes
When even I don’t know
It’s what I need

The heavens are worth nothing
If you’re not there to share them with me
The sun that sets over my heart
Every evening
Is not as beautiful
As it used to be
When I only feel this ache that settles
Along with it
Make your face out of stars
And cry myself to sleep
Hoping that you see
Knowing that there’s no way you can
Foolish words
And a folly heart
Full of unorganized emotions
Has made you turn away
