an elegantly pruned duck

hovers butterfly proud
on tortoise shell pond,

applies standard strokes,
glides forth.


royal crest
symmetrical waves
released

still point
supernova

flattens pleiades
bends orion's belt

washing clean balding green
graffiti on billions year stone
