In the forest,
Or in the trees,
On the lawns,
The minstrel sings,
A tune of spring.
Wearing a tuxedo,
Of red and brown,
Like Luciano Pavarotti,
In opera bound.
A sweat melody,
That calms the soul,
The minstrel's song,
Of spring,
That never grow old.
Like a spotlight,
The sun does shine,
Surrounding the minstrel,
In golden rays,
Of floral design.
The melody seemed,
To say,
Welcome spring,
With many encores,
On it way.
