Minute Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Minute

She shook her head
and she mouthed “No”
it was a minute he couldn’t forget.
Months and years passed,
seasons have changed,
the minute still replays itself in his head.

Some moments take forever,
some moments happen
in a blink of an eye.
That minute with her
as she returned his heart to him,
cost him his lifetime.
