Miraculous, Sumptuous Death Poem by Andrei Tris

Miraculous, Sumptuous Death

Miraculous, Sumptuous death, sex and life
death and rebirth, light and darkness, heaven and earth
until one day
in one of their dreams,
the two met each other's eyes
and fell in love.
The only way to finish this:
the man went into the forest
to find a field
where the flowers grew
like a blossom
on a purple flower-seeded
chair.
And he found the wife.
And the woman came out of her own field
and sat in his lap.
And they made love.
And in love's heat,
the woman burned
and she died,
like a burnt piece of meat.
The man went into the forest
to find a field
and to die.
