'Mirror' - Poem by Isra Alam

I look at u as you pass by
U know that u're living a lie
I see your heart is ripped
I see you walk but u trip
I see that you're wearing a smile
I know that it's just a disguise
You're trying to hide it
They try to put u down but u dont mind it
But the person i'm looking at
Isn't anybody else
But the person m looking at
Is myself

I'm looking at the mirror
With my eyes fill with fear
It's like the ground underneath me fell
And i'm running since then

Here are you and me again
You've been my only friend
You've helped me wend my way
Everyday is just so black and grey
They always try to put me down
But i will always be rising from the ground
I would always be strong
And prove that all u haters are wrong
And tht person in the mirror
Would always be a believer

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Just what I see when I look in the mirror x))
I'm not much of a poet.
But I love writing poems.
I know this one sucks.
Just something i wrote randomly.
Tell me what you think bout it x)
Thank you x))
