Mirror Mirror Poem by Tracey Onken

Mirror Mirror

I look in the mirror
and what do I see?
My life has not always been plain sailing.
But that does not mean I'm failing.
I am proud of my journey,
the bumps in the road have taught me at times how to carry heavy loads.
As a child I felt slow but I just needed extra time to grow.
Success is not in the house you own, or the car you drive.
It's much deeper than that it's your mind, body and soul.
Giving people your time listening, not judging is more important than any other role.
