Mirror To Yourself Poem by Bill Steward

Mirror To Yourself

With unfinished prayers
You think its unfair
Your hearts bursting
With and overwhelming pace
To much space within those eyes
Theres no life within those eyes
All those flies
Crawling all over those eyes
Those eyes begin to rot
In a puddle of blood they fall
You look at those eyes as they look at you
You see yourself looking at you
A voice comes from those eyes
'As i die so will you,
Because you are me
And i am you.'
