Misfortune Poem by Heaven and Earth

All I feel is pain
I feel like I’m dead
Its jus not the same
I’m lying in bed
Trying to build a frame
Of what is it I’ve done?
The agony, the pain
Jus as I thought I had one
Injecting things in my veins
Then I would succumb
The thumbing of my heart
Beating like drums
I care for you so much
Yet we can’t be one
In the same native tongue
You and I speak
So why can’t we brush
Cheek to cheek
I would meet ends meet
To make you happy
I can’t accept defeat
Reap…Reap…Reap
I wish I’d seep
Into the sand
Being reborn a different man
That can stand this pain
You’ve engraved
In my san-ity
Why me?
I try to be carefree
Reminiscing on my past
I leave it be
That’s not me
That’s my past
I’m looking towards the future
Yet I can’t understand
I shed off my mask
That part of my life has passed
Yet I still can’t forget you
Those memories
I can’t erase
I know what I’m seeking
I’m seeking
my place
