Misha Poem by elna mercado

Misha

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho,
Like running water,
You have always somewhere to go.
You seem everywhere but where are you?
I holler trying to find you......
Please come home, at school we're ready to go!

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho
Like hay, your hair's so sticky, dirty and in disarray.
You run like a broomstick,
As if the witch is after you.
Please stop come near me,
I've something to tell you.

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho
Like fish, you swim anywhere
But please, please not at the pond,
The crocs dangerously lie below,
They look like sleeping logs but they have snapping jaw! ! !
Please listen to me, go where it is safe for you.

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho,
Like peacock, I perch and scream as the sun fades
To get you out of the bushes
Where snakes and creepers might harm you.
But oh, you come home with a chameleon in toe.
I run, so frightened reaching so far, so stricken! ! !

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho
You already look like a specimen from the zoo.
Your feet are blistered and where are your shoes? ? ?
Your face is terribly baked, smudged and freckled,
Shed off your clothes that smell, torn and grimy
Please come home, I'll clean you up in the tubby.

Misha, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho
The world becomes so distant
When you're listening to stories of long ago,
Together we read adventures and wars
But the ones you want are those not in the book,
The stories I've made up for you! ! !

Mish, Misha, Mishosha, Mishasho
At last silence reign, my day not in vain.
Now I must tiptoe, sleep all night through,
While I write all in the day;
Love is greater than you now know.
Love is my breathe to take care of you.
