Miss Perfect - Poem by laurajayne Kennedy

As she walks down the street
'miss perfect' we call her
is there for everyone to see.

With blonde hair
and pretty eyes
she is quite a catch
for every guy.

Flawless to the eyes perception
every girl wants her perfection.
Her life seems perfect
everything in control
she is missing one thing
didnt you know?

Not everything is what you see
she appears happy to please thee.
underneath all the exterior
lies a helpless little girl
thrying to find her way
in this big, hard world.

Look hard at a person
and you will see
there are things hidden underneath.
Not everything is what appears to be
even 'miss perfect' has flaws you see.
