Missing Poem by Michael Saurer

Missing

My dog is gone
Forever and ever
Nothing to be done
But to forget- Never

Missing a friend

I haven’t heard from her
Who I care for most
A week without answer
It seems so lost

Missing a girl

Everything tumbling
around me
reasons are missing
to all who see

Missing a sense

I stand in the middle
Just standing still
A part of a riddle
That’s losing its thrill

Missing a solution

Praying to god
Asking to solve this mess
But I forgot
That I was fighting for less

Not missing a challenge
