Missing Children Poem by Zaynab Waraich

Missing Children

There, she says,
She doesn't know if Children have the power to vanish.
They'll be safe, she says,
For they live in a so-called sanctuary.
The Architecture of fear is not accidental, she says,
But oppressors have manifested the entire ruin of the Neurobiology of a child,
and the meaningless impulse of what it means to be human.
