Mission Lacks Vision Poem by Shujaat Hussain

Mission Lacks Vision

Stony heart, venomous mind
Demonic deeds no doubt indeed
Breathe in fenced barracks, fire from sky
Sitting in sophisticated Choppers they fly
At the armless innocent people
Too many occasions replete with example
And raise voice of Peace Mission.
All efforts go awry visible its reason
Seems a mimicry as it lacks vision.
Too many places have become
A laboratory of terror
And a centre of Jihadis,
Creates great horror.
Suicidal attacks take place every week
Most sought after for directionless and weak.
It’s not a problem of a single
Country or a community
Nor can be solved by Super Power alone
Global efforts with unity
Can neutralize terror into infinity.
