Mist In My Eyes

With such mist in my eyes,
I have lost my sight-
So tired of counting the seconds,
Another unending night.
Silent, so silent is my world,
Still I hear some faraway screams-
Stepping on the fragments I try to stand,
Scattered are my broken dreams.
