Mistaken Expectation - Poem by Vicky Biorseth

She sits down in her corner looking out across the world
She see's them coming after her this worried grown up girl
She wonders what they'll do to her maybe kick or beat her down
How can she escape this mess sprout off the ground
The crowd is coming closer still she starts to cower and scream
When she realizes the crowd comes after her to wake her from this dream
They scoop her up so strong so fast it seems she's in a whirl
They carry her to safer ground this thankful grown up girl
