Mistrial Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Mistrial

After the mistrial
One more record
One more chance
More an opportunity
To get to do-
With a walk of fame
Sweet music to ears
But, the comments
Being, misunderstood
For the fall to up climb
Standing-
Erect and straight
To rise and shine.

Tied with pen and paper
Open space and thoughts
Performing-
Self-inspired music
Music and dance
Travelling place to place
Getting calculations correct
But, found nothing wrong
To impede the duty cast.

Working away the pain
Working too hard-
No look back, no talk
Walking while-
On the ice and thorns
After getting stumbled
Stumbled at the mistrial.
