We started hand and hand
Three years old
Best friends
We were always told

Four letters
One kind
One young
One loving
One everything
That’s what you mean to me
Everything


I was nine
And he just ten
His arms around my waist back then
Scared for my life as I stepped on
He helped me ride
Skateboard and gone
He stood there by my side
Didn’t let go till I said all right
The way I felt
Was a special day
The day I realized he always took my breath away

the sun beats down
as i look in your eyes
i wonder now
is our love a superise?
do people wonder why,
or when?
do they ask if its true,
now and then?

The thought crosses my mind
Am I obsessed
I think I may be
Or maybe I just love

all i see is your eyes like the vast blue
i try and wonder what its like to be your baby
kiss me this once, just maybe?

i try and think of something but it ends up a picture of you and me
i try and imagine what its like to be your baby
