Mobile Phone Poem by sally ann jackson

Mobile Phone

I deleted you from my phone today
contact I now not need,
thought long & hard before doing so
as this ment we'd both be freed.
Cant tell you that I'm happy yet
as iv cried ever since,
but when my tears subside,
with words I will convince.
We need to make the break from this
a past we cannot live,
the thing that's in our favour tho
emotions we'll forgive.
Your miles away no longer close
no chance to see me dear,
distance of which to separate
now that your not near.
For a willingness a life on track
no time I shall regret,
and given it to heal our wounds
but never I'll forget.
