Mock Epic: The Day The Signal Died

Sing, O Router, once faithful river of light,
Now silent, leaving Heroes stranded in shadow.
The Wi-Fi, invisible pulse of modern power,
Faltered, vanished, and the mortal world shook.
Behold the Citizens, devices in trembling hands,
Screens flickering like dying stars in endless night.
Messages unsent, videos frozen mid-battle,
Emails lost as if devoured by Hades himself.
The Hero's fingers hovered over keyboard,
Striking at ghosts, tapping in vain, pleading with gods unseen.
Chaos spread like wildfire through digital realms:
Calls dropped, streams halted, social feeds frozen,
And even the sacred Cloud seemed abandoned,
Its treasures unreachable, floating in ether void.
Friends sent smoke-signals of frustration,
And memes turned to omens of despair.
The Alarm Clock shrieked unheeded;
Work piled like collapsing mountains;
Homework, bills, and deadlines surged like vengeful tides.
The Hero wandered halls, muttering prayers,
While routers glowed dim, powerless, inert, mocking.
Yet amid the apocalypse, mortal courage stirred:
A book opened, a conversation began,
Eyes met without screens, and hearts endured.
Slowly, faintly, the signal returned, a glimmer,
Restoring realms, reviving streams, rekindling hope.
Thus ends the epic of Wi-Fi failure,
A disaster apocalyptic, absurd, and modern,
Where mortals learned anew the fragility of connection,
And celebrated the return of light,
For even invisible rivers can vanish,
And heroes must survive the silence of the digital abyss.
