Sing, O Stove, blazing altar of mortal dread,
Of Heroes who face the cosmic peril of Boiling Milk,
White rivers swelling, frothing with divine intent,
Rising like tides of chaos ready to claim the kitchen.
Behold the Mortal, pan in trembling hand,
Eyes wide as steam clouds veil the heavens.
A moment of inattention, a glance away—
And the sacred milk erupts, froth spilling over edges,
Foaming like snow-capped mountains in rebellion.
The Hero strikes with wooden spoon, shield of mortals,
Stirring, churning, battling bubbles as though Titans of old.
The aroma swells, sacred yet threatening,
While fire beneath roars like a dragon awakened.
Time slows as froth rises, inch by inch,
Teasing disaster, threatening scorched countertops,
And the Hero swears oaths to gods of cleanliness,
Praying for mastery over this white, surging sea.
At last, with courage, vigilance, and steady hand,
The milk is tamed, cauldron subdued, chaos abated.
Steam rises in reverence, triumphant and gentle,
And the Hero claims victory over what seemed apocalyptic.
Thus ends the epic of the Boiling Milk,
A cosmic threat in miniature, absurd yet real,
Where mortal courage and attentiveness
Conquer the frothy chaos of the everyday universe.
