Mock Epic: The Legend Of The Mighty Mike

Sing, O Stage, witness to the deeds of mortal sound,
Where Heroes wield the sacred Mike,
A wand of power, a horn of destiny,
Through which even the meek may summon thunder.
Behold Mike, bearer of voice and echoes,
Clutched in trembling hands or confident grip,
Amplifying whispers to proclamations,
Transforming jokes into epics, complaints into sagas.
The Crowd, vast as armies of old, waits in suspense,
Each syllable a sword, each pause a shield.
The Mortal, chosen wielder, clears throat like a trumpet,
And lo! Words spill forth, heroic, absurd, unstoppable,
While feedback screeches like sirens of Olympus,
And cables twist like serpents of old.
Allies cheer, enemies squint, sound waves clash,
The Hero balances reverence and chaos,
For too much power brings distortion,
Too little leaves glory unsung.
At last, the speech ends, song fades, joke lands,
And the Mighty Mike, still warm with valor,
Is laid to rest, relic of triumph,
Immortal in memory, absurd yet heroic.
Thus ends the epic of Mike, wielder of voices,
Where mortals become legends through sound,
And even a simple tool—held with courage—
Turns the mundane into saga,
The ordinary into absurdly heroic glory.
If you like, I can expand this into a full "Mike Saga" series, turning a single microphone into a Homeric hero battling sound-check disasters, stage fright monsters, and epic karaoke duels. Do you want me to do that next?
