Mock Epic: The Rebellion Of The Alarm Clocks

Sing, O Bedroom, witness to the uprising of time,
Where Heroes—mortals—face a fearsome, shrieking foe,
The Alarm Clocks, once obedient servants,
Now monstrous heralds of chaos, clang and chime unbidden.
Behold the Mortal, half-asleep, bleary-eyed,
Blanket drawn like a shield, pillow as armor,
As the Clocks, tin titans of shrill authority,
Rage with alarms, rings, and relentless beeps,
Summoning mortals from slumber with unholy zeal.
The Night, once peaceful, trembles at their call,
Hands of the clocks spinning like frenzied chariots,
Buttons pressed, snooze invoked, yet futile,
For the Alarm Clocks heed no mortal command.
The Battle rages: feet flail, blankets are tossed,
Pillows struck in defense, coffee summoned as potion of strength,
While the Clocks clang, ring, vibrate, and mock,
Merciless in their campaign to conquer rest.
Yet Heroes endure, weary but cunning,
Dodging the shrieks with legendary strategy,
Till finally, the Morning Sun rises, ally of humans,
And the Clocks' rebellion falters, silenced by light.
Thus ends the epic of the Alarm Clocks' Rebellion,
Where mortals confront tin titans of tyranny,
And even the smallest device becomes a foe heroic,
A terror absurd, yet immortalized in the annals of morning legend.
