Mock Epic: The Tribunal Of Everyday Virtue

Sing, O Ledger, witness to the trials of mortal folly,
Where Heroes—clad in robes of opinion—wage war
With sharpened tongues, mighty glances, and sighs of judgment,
In the grand arena of Moral Mockery.
Behold the Mortal, coffee in hand, brows furrowed,
Surveying neighbors, strangers, colleagues, and kin,
Each action a spark, each misstep a pyre of scandal,
While the Hero magnifies trifles into epic crimes:
A shirt wrinkled! A parking space claimed!
A sentence typed without Oxford-comma perfection!
Allies assemble: Friends with raised eyebrows,
Family with wagging fingers, strangers on the street
Who pass judgment with the gravitas of Olympian gods,
Nodding gravely, whispering verdicts in invisible scrolls.
The Battlefield stretches across social media and lunch tables,
Where memes are wielded like flaming swords,
And hashtags serve as heralds of righteousness.
Even the humble cat video becomes allegory,
Commented upon, dissected, and morally assessed.
Yet amid the satire, courage is revealed:
Heroes mock bravely, exaggerate kindly,
Exposing absurdity with gentle laughter,
Teaching mortals that judgment is oft trivial,
And virtue may sometimes wear a ridiculous hat.
Thus ends the epic of Moral Mockery,
Where mortals elevate minutiae to mythic status,
And every sigh, raised brow, and wagging finger
Becomes heroic, absurd, and immortal,
Etched forever in the annals of everyday legend.
