Molten Gold Poem by RAJESH DEY

Molten Gold

Why did you melt so much?
I only wished you melt a little
Around the corners in the middle
And manage in the world

I did not budge I did not listen
Then I did not know whence it came
It had me melted all along
I was raining in all directions

You were afraid
You said I only asked you to be
A little malleable and not this molten gold

If you do not solidify
How shall I wear you?
I want you to crown my forehead
And adorn my being

You heard you do not have a case of in-between
Either it is too dry barren and arid
Or it is liquid, molten and flowing
