I know it hasn’t been easy
I know it’s been hard
I know I haven’t been the best
And you know the rest

Life has been a smile
So why not run a mile
I could have sung a song
But I’m afraid it would be too long

I always listened to you
Even when I was two
And I always wanted a double
But I think it would have been to much trouble

I was afraid you would leave
Bu would never deserve
Life without you
Would never be true

I love you mommy
I always will
Even though I’m a big girl
